urban Space: expression

This picture was taken in Port Of Spain at Brian Lara Promenade. A group of christians marched around the city and assembled there sharing their views on morality and temperance. This was put forward in the form of dance, poems, skits and song. Here citizens are creating meaningful  public space by expressing their attitudes, asserting their claims and using it for their own purpose. this space is seen as a public good where individuals are free to use it in whatever fashion they want. according to Gohen public space is a vital locus for moulding opinions and asserting claims.
