The guild is run by students for the students. Elected officers represents students on the main decision making committee of the University including, planning, finance and academic committees. On March 4-8th students nominated for various positions set out to campaign by posting flyers and speaking to students one on one. Campus walls were decorated with different faces. There were many other creative ways of campaigning which is seen in this photograph. the card board replica of Alexander Johnson was quite interesting. this captured the attention of many students passing by. whether students felt he was the best fit for president of the guild was to their own judgement. like any election students were sweet talked by many of the candidates. at the end students exercised the right by placing a tick by the candidates of their choice.
