Within an urban area there are great varieties of interdependent activities . Therefore, choice of location of any activity is normally decided by assessing the relative advantage Adebayo (2009).  The economic factors of demand and supply of urban land play a significant role in the the process of land use patterns. this building strike me while walking through Tunapuna, an area which could be considered as a focal point for economic activity.  the question lingered in my mind why such a prime spot is not being utilized to its economic potential?  In other to really answer this question a number of key factors have to be considered in term of urban space.
